I cannot thank you enough for this scholarship. I was just recently notified that I was accepted to the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications as a Telecommunications major! I will be living on my own in the spring which will cost upwards of $800-$1000 a month. Now there is much less of a burden on me, as well as my parents. I'm so grateful that scholarships like this exist, so that I can pursue my dream of becoming a sports broadcast journalist. I can see myself 2 years down the road graduating with my bachelors in telecommunications and pursuing my dream career. This scholarship has just made my goal even more attainable!
