Mark Douglas
Mark Douglas is an investigative reporter who recently retired after a distinguished 42-year-long career in broadcast journalism based almost entirely in Florida.
Mark recently retired from Tampa’s WFLA-TV 8 in December where he has spent the past 23 years investigating consumer fraud, government corruption, environmental mishaps and random bad guys.Prior to that he served 12 years at WTSP-TV 10 where he was a senior reporter and bureau chief.
Mark is also an accomplished print journalist with more than a dozen front-page stories and nearly 400 bylines in the former Tampa Tribune. He has earned numerous journalism awards in his career including most recently two 2018 Suncoast Emmys for his investigation of foster care, and the 2017 Florida AP News Franchise Award for his "You Paid for It" reports.

Glad you found us! The Broadcasters Club of Florida brings together people with an interest in broadcasting and closely related industries. We gather from October thru April for discussions and a wide variety of interesting speakers at monthly lunches and Meet and Greet functions. Members and attendees are involved in the broadcast industry either in the past, present or future. Whether you are in news media, films, TV, or radio you are welcome to attend any networking event and engage in creative discussion.
